The Minister of Health, Dr. Galya Kondeva, convenes the Branch Council for tripartite cooperation in health care, NOVA reported.
The aim is to discuss the conclusion of a new Collective Labor Agreement, announced the Ministry of Health.
In front of the employer and trade union organizations, Minister Kondeva expressed hope for a reasonable and constructive dialogue that would lead to a solution that works for both parties. For their part, the organizations have confirmed that they will again sit at the same table for negotiations.
It was this topic that was planned as the first item in the failed extraordinary session of the National Assembly a week before the elections.
On the agenda was a draft decision to oblige the Minister of Health to take actions and measures to conclude a collective labor agreement in the “Health“ and for the application of sanctions for non-payment of the labor remunerations provided for in it to the medical specialists.
In early May, the Federation of Health Care Trade Unions sent a letter to President Rumen Radev, Acting Minister Dimitar Glavchev, and Health Minister Galya Kondeva, in which they accused employers' organizations of "sabotaging" of the negotiations for the conclusion of a new collective labor agreement in the "Healthcare" sector.
