The new Patriarch of Bulgaria - Daniil Vidinsky, with his first words after he was elected to head the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

Daniil Vidinsky won the runoff election for spiritual leader with 69 votes. The other candidate for the patriarchal throne - Grigoriy Vrachanski, received 66 of the votes. There were three invalid ballots. A total of 138 delegates participated in the vote.
