The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a Code Red for dangerously high temperatures for today for four areas , BNT reported. These are Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Pleven and Blagoevgrad.
Temperatures will be between 37° and 42°, in Sofia - about 37°.
In the mountains it will be sunny, after noon with slight cumulus clouds. It will blow to moderate, along the ridge and temporarily strong wind from the east-northeast. Warm, with a maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 m about 32°, at 2000 m - about 24°.
On the Black Sea it will be mostly sunny. A moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 30° and 35°. The temperature of the sea water is 27°. The excitement of the sea will be 2 - 3 bales.
