It is clear, we are going to elections. We saw rudimentary attempts by PP-DB to get back into the game. This was stated by the former Minister of Economy and Energy Rumen Ovcharov in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".
He defined low voter turnout as the main problem, and people don't vote because they "don't want to be lied to, to be led by the nose".
"Corenia has a single task - a manageable and organized transition and the election of a new party chairman. All the time, the opposition tried to compromise Cornelia, they didn't understand that hatred against Cornelia is not politics, they compromised the whole party," said Ovcharov.
On the air of Bulgaria ON AIR , he emphasized that in the case of the BSP there is a bad advice and pressure from the president, "who does not forgive".
"Rumen Radev generated two generations of clientele, the first - Zhoro Gergov, Vesela Lecheva, Petar Vitanov, the second - from the so-called youth association since 2022, when professionals were fired from key positions in a number of state-owned enterprises, to be replaced by young people, non-professionals - Ivo Lilov, Nikolay Marinov, Enyo Savov, people who entered the leadership of "LB Bulgaricum" ; said Rumen Ovcharov.
The former minister is adamant that he will not achieve a better result with Ninova BSP.
"Left voters do not want to vote for a BSP that serves this or that. The division in the BSP is between the clientelistic whirlwind and normal decent people who voted for the BSP so far," the guest added.
Ovcharov also commented on the changes at the "Kozloduy" NPP. He is convinced that the leak is a sign of the irresponsibility with which the nuclear plant is managed.
"No one asks how the fifth unit works with the American fuel - with lower revolutions, it works with 40 megawatts of lower power, instead of 1400 megawatts - 1000. With this fuel, it cannot do more. Revenues for the first quarter are 270 million lower, by the end of the year, just because of the lower level, they will be another 70 million," predicts Rumen Ovcharov.
