The situation is dire in the area of the Plovdiv village of Otets Paisievo, where dozens of houses burned down, and the fire is still not under control. The promised aid from the Czech Republic has already arrived. One of the helicopters landed in Plovdiv late in the afternoon.
The fire entered the village of Voden in a matter of minutes. People's houses start to burn, and the suffocating thick smoke spreads everywhere.
"The house burned down. I saved the animals, but the house is gone," said Petar Yanev.
There is mass panic in the village and people begin to evacuate themselves.
"Our house hasn't burned down yet, but I don't know what I'm going to do. My father is 76 years old, I don't know what to do, Lord," explained another resident of the village.
Lonely elderly people are also forced to find their own way through the fiery hell.
"A woman on the phone called. Vika collect documents and go. Well, I have to go to a house here. I don't know where to go either," Yanko Nikolov clarified.
A few hours later, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov and the director of the fire department arrived in the village.
"There were no victims or injured people from the fire near the village of Voden. The situation around the village is serious, this is an outbreak since yesterday, we have not been able to locate it. Today, due to the direction of the wind, the fire turned and entered the village. There was no danger to the village. The wind suddenly changed direction.

The fire department said that people were not evacuated earlier because the fire changed its direction very quickly and there was no time to react.
