When we do not respect the law, we step into corruption with both feet, said the director

At this complex and dramatic moment, political life is operetta. The country is not in an easy situation. This was stated by director Prof. Lyubomir Halachev in the studio of the show "The Day ON AIR".

"A country that respects its culture also has a very strong tool to influence people. Influencing people through words, that's culture. We wonder why this keeps happening in the National Assembly and none of our analysts can understand. In most cases, politicians say one thing and understand another," Prof. Halachev commented to Bulgaria ON AIR.

According to him, this is precisely why people do not agree with what they see in the deputies and the low turnout in elections is the result of invisible political corruption.

"When in a city people have sent a man as a deputy and then they see that he, without doing anything special, starts to get rich, they say "it is clear what the matter is, we will not vote anymore", and let him explain where he got the money from,", pointed out the guest.

Prof. Halachev also commented on the changes in the Constitution, which were annulled by the Constitutional Court. He noted that the deputies made these changes without having the right.

"All these fellow citizens, MPs, lawyers said "we will break the law because we want to do something very good". This is the most dangerous path to corruption. When we don't respect the law, we get both feet into corruption," the interlocutor was firm in his position.

"I sometimes wonder how easily the law is broken. It is also being violated at the household level," pointed out Prof. Halachev.
