Over 2,120 servicemen from the Ground Forces have participated in extinguishing fires so far

Eighteen servicemen from the Third Brigade Command with 6 specialized machines and today, August 10, are participating in extinguishing the fire in Slavyanka Mountain

Above 2,120 military personnel with about 426 units of equipment from various formations of the Ground Forces participated in extinguishing fires in various areas of the country. The servicemen operate non-stop from July 12 to today, August 10, together with their colleagues from the Air Force, firefighters from the General Directorate of "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population", employees of the country's forestry and volunteers.

Eighteen servicemen from the Third Brigade Command with 6 specialized machines are also today, August 10, involved in extinguishing the fire in Slavyanka Mountain on the Bulgarian-Greek border, which has been burning for 22 days. The military personnel operate in the area of Goleshovo village, Sandanski municipality, Blagoevgrad district.
