A person with indisputable authority in his environment , who elevated the rule of law into a philosophy of life and proved that Bulgaria's civilizational path to Europe is beyond doubt. This is the kind of figure we should be looking for as prime minister.
This was stated by PP-DB MP Yavor Bozhankov to NOVA.
„I'm sure there is more than one name that unites these values,” he added.
„In recent years there have been two regular governments – we did both. If anyone is willing to rule, we have paid too high a price. They criticize us for forming a government with the support of GERB, but on the other hand, everyone is dissatisfied that there is no regular government and BGN 100 million is spent on several elections, that even Romania is already seceding to Schengen, the MP from PP-DB.
„We alone did the impossible to have a regular government. If there is no regular government in the next parliament, the whole of representative democracy is in question. Whether a one-man regime, or Bulgaria will make a turn to the East – the risks are getting big and we all have something to lose”, he said.
„There is only one news. It is not that GERB-SDS supported Anton Slavchev to remain at the head of the Anti-Corruption Commission. He has enjoyed Delyan Peevski's trust for a long time. The news is that there is a new beginning in BSP, because, starting this vote, GERB and DPS lost their majority and were saved by BSP”, according to Bozhankov.
„I think that instead of taking the path of a modern European social party, the BSP continues to return to the past. It will not be reformed and will be submerged below the 4 percent barrier, unfortunately, as Bulgaria needs a modern political force to defend social policies, but this role is currently somewhat taken over by the PP. Instead of persecuting imaginary enemies and fears in the face of genders, sorosoids and migrants, PP implements these social policies, he pointed out.
„There is no fight against corruption because there is unregulated intervention in the regulators, the judiciary and the services,” commented Bozhankov. According to him, GERB are not ready to part with DPS on the subject of the judicial system and the fight against corruption. “It is obvious that no matter what you talk to Borisov and GERB, someone else makes the decisions,”, he thinks.
