Anton Hekimyan: Terziev must understand that he is not a company manager

In order for the budget to be adopted as it is, the mayor must sit down for a dialogue with the political parties. Vasil Terziev did not want his budget to be adopted

The Sofia Municipal Council adopted the Sofia budget with the adjustments that were made by some of the parties.

"The meeting lasted until 7 p.m., as long as we are legally entitled to, and we adopted the capital's budget - historically, despite the mayor and despite the supposedly ruling majority. This budget that was adopted is entirely Vasil Terziev's budget with the projects that we proposed and upgraded in order to enrich this budget, which is certainly not perfect," commented the municipal councilor from GERB-SDF Anton Hikimyan in the studio of "Denyat ON AIR".

According to him, all of Terziev's projects remain, some have had their budgets reduced out of rationality.

"Because he cannot do his job and implement them. 10 kindergartens - they do not have a project ready to be implemented, and the money will go to 2026," the municipal councilor gave an example. The voted increase is about 30 million. BGN, which is about 1%, pointed out Hekimyan, a position previously expressed by "Save Sofia".

"Terziev again pulled out a list that he is filling out - with his next culprit - "Save Sofia", because he was told something in spite of himself. Vasil Terziev must understand that he is not a company manager, that he is not the darling child of the State Security, that he has political opponents. In order for the mayor's budget to be adopted as it is, he must sit down for a dialogue with the political parties. Vasil Terziev did not want his budget to be adopted. They failed to get anything done - 284 million BGN is the transitional balance from last year, there could have been DG, roads, there is always one, but this is an extremely large sum," Anton Hekimyan pointed out. On the air of Bulgaria ON AIR, he described the SOS session as heart-wrenching.

"We have made proposals for 25 million leva. They include 10 kindergartens, money for pensioner clubs, for health facilities, and 1.5 million for temple repairs. Terziev has become a professional complainer", said the municipal councilor from GERB-SDS. GERB-SDS supported the increase of 300 leva for all employees. Hekimyan emphasized that Terziev is deliberately trying to oppose the different branches: "We cannot divide people, the mayor and deputy mayor cannot divide them by saying "there is something for some, there is nothing for others". Money must be found for everyone".

Regarding the money for garbage collection, Hikemyan stated that there is such money, it is in the budget that has been adopted and should be paid so that there is no garbage crisis in Sofia.
