13 Bulgarians, part of a cultural delegation in Israel, appealed to be evacuated as soon as possible.
„We want to go home to our families. We haven't slept for several nights. Last night was quite brutal. There were six attacks. We gather in the basement of the hotel, which serves as a bomb shelter”, Mira Kopanarova explained to NOVA.
Our compatriots hardly leave their hotel. „Israelis are used to it and there are people who move around the streets, but there are very few of them. It definitely feels like we are at war”, the Bulgarian stressed.
She expressed gratitude to the state for assisting in their evacuation from Israel. And praised the efforts of Ambassador Slavena Gergova.
