Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov calls an emergency meeting in connection with the disturbances at "Vasil Levski" Sofia Airport and the drastic incident today, in which nearly 300 passengers on a flight from London were stranded for nearly an hour in the "sleeve" connecting the plane with the airport terminal.
The meeting will be held tomorrow, Sunday, at 10:00 a.m. at Terminal 2. It will be attended by the management of the General Directorate of the "Civil Aviation Administration" (CAA), the executive director of "SOF Connect" and his team, representatives of the Customs Agency, Border Police, as well as all ground operators responsible for servicing arriving flights from third countries.
Each of the units must present to Minister Karadjov a variant for a better organization of entry into Bulgaria for passengers arriving from countries outside the EU.
