Vasil Tonchev: Vassilev and Borislavova should also resign

What is happening in the PP is natural, believes the sociologist from Sova Haris

What is happening in "We continue the change" is natural. The party's leadership is being discredited. We must not forget the scandals in "Customs", which are still smoldering, and now this scandal in the Sofia Municipality.

This was stated by the sociologist from "Sova Haris" Vasil Tonchev on NOVA NEWS, quoted by FOCUS, in a comment on the recent turmoil in the PP.

"For me, we need new leadership. Asen Vassilev and Lena Borislavova should also resign like Kiril Petkov. I personally see Acad. Nikolay Denkov as a new and good leader. We will see what will happen on Sunday. It is unlikely that Kiril Petkov will back down from his resignation. This will harm the party even more, because people get annoyed if someone lies to them. Apparently there are some internal party frictions and clashes inside. The coalition with the DB will not fall apart. Together they are stronger. I do not think that people who vote for the PP will switch to another party. The PP is ultimately a small party that protects the interests of certain voters and is not at the center of political life. The center of political life in our country, which makes decisions, is clear - Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski," he added.

"Rosen Zhelyazkov is gaining popularity, both as Prime Minister and in GERB. And one party is too small for two leaders. For me, in the presidential elections, Borisov will nominate Zhelyazkov as a presidential candidate. This is exactly what Borisov hinted at when he said that he was ready to negotiate with the PP-DB for the presidential elections. The right has no chance of winning the presidential elections without GERB. It is clear that "Vazrazhdane" will nominate a candidate. The Bulgarian Socialist Party will also nominate a candidate. We will see if this will be Iliyana Yotova. Rumen Radev is interested in early elections before the presidential and local elections, for example in the spring of next year. Whether there will be early elections depends to some extent on the president, but most of all on Delyan Peevski," Vasil Tonchev predicts the development of political events in our country.
