Yavor's mother from Varna: He was looking for help. We have so many questions about this inhuman case

"Why, after they put the handcuffs on him, did he have to be thrown to the ground in such a disgusting way? Why did his head have to be slammed into the asphalt more than 10 times? Why did they start choking him? Why did they start kicking him? Why did the doctor do nothing?", asks the mother Gospodinka Georgieva

On Saturday, Yavor Georgiev's funeral was held. His closest person - his mother Gospodinka Georgieva - spoke exclusively to bTV about what happened on that fatal night. Yavor's friend - Diana Koleva - is also with her.

“My child was under a lot of stress, it was obvious in the way he spoke. He was extremely worried, he felt that something bad was happening“, she told in “This Sunday“ Miss Georgieva.
"It was very strange to me and that's why I tried to calm him down as much as possible. What was the cause of this stress - a lot of pressure at work, I don't know what happened. I never could understand", says the mother.
"I've never seen him in such great stress, I could literally hear his heart through the phone", she adds.

"At one point his phone suddenly stopped, I had no connection with him. In the meantime, a duty officer from the Second District called me, wanting me to confirm that I was his mother. He explained to me that he was sending a patrol car, sending an ambulance to the scene. The next moment I was already talking to one of the police officers who arrived. They asked me if he had ever had mental problems, to which I categorically replied that he had never had any“, said Gospodinka Georgieva.
They told her that when the ambulance came, they would put him in and call her to contact the doctor.

„This is the moment when I completely cut off contact with absolutely everyone. I waited half an hour and started calling again. In the meantime, I found a ride to go to Varna. I started calling constantly, and I also wrote an SMS to the person on duty at the Second District that I was traveling and where to go“, Gospodinka Georgieva also says.

„At about 5:30 p.m. "They picked me up to tell me the news that after fighting for an hour for my child's life, he had died because his heart couldn't handle it," says the mother.
“I went to the psychiatric ward, access was denied. There was a police officer on duty in front. I started asking, but for an hour and a half no one gave me an answer. At that time, I also spoke to the man who was driving the ambulance and who was smoking very calmly. He said to me: “Are you this man's mother? He beat up the police officers and they are currently going to get a medical certificate.“, said Gospodinka.
“After many requests, they agreed to let me in and I found my child thrown in the corridor in front of the office. That's where my horror began, because my child was still warm and no one can convince me that someone adequately fought for his life“, said Yavor's mother.

According to the expert report, narcotics were found in Yavor Georgiev's blood.
„I had an extremely strong relationship with my child. If I had had the slightest doubt, I would have taken some action. We are waiting for the final results“, said Gospodinka Georgieva.

Yavor's girlfriend said that they have known each other for eight years and have been together for two years. There is no suspicion that he is taking narcotics. He does not explain why he was panicking.

„Maybe he was under pressure from work. It could have been something like this, you can't control your emotions“, said Diana Koleva.
He had a fast food restaurant and according to his mother, he was dedicated to his job.

According to the two women, it is clearly visible that there are four police officers in the videos, not two.

“These clips that are circulating on the Internet, people watch the same beginning and no one is aware of what is happening until the end. About the second clip – why did they put handcuffs on him at all, after he was looking for help. He was calm the whole time, I talked to people at the gas station. He said – – – – – – – – People, why aren't you helping me. I haven't done anything, why are you putting handcuffs on me?“ They claimed that by the time the ambulance arrived, he had begun to calm down. I talked to him and he was adequate enough“, says the mother.
“Why, after they put the handcuffs on him, did he have to be thrown to the ground in such a disgusting way? Why did he have to be slammed into the asphalt with his head more than 10 times? Why did they start choking him? Why did they start kicking him? Why did the doctor do nothing? We have so many questions about an inhuman case. This is about a young, healthy man. A full-fledged man - don't spit on him and don't make him an alcoholic and a drug addict. He was a decent man“, said Gospodinka Georgieva.

She expects a fair sentence for the police officers.

“Whatever my son was, at that moment he was seeking help from inadequate people“, said the mother.
