Gabriel Valkov: The budget is within the limits that guarantee entry into the Eurozone

It is not right for a banker and a cleaner to pay the same taxes, believes the MP from the "BSP - United Left"

The next vote of no confidence that "Majesty" submitted for consideration in the parliament will be related to the environment and illegal landfills. Gabriel Valkov, MP from the "BSP - United Left" and member of the Foreign Policy Committee, commented on the topic to NOVA NEWS.

„Undoubtedly, the budget is within the limits that guarantee entry into the Eurozone, and the convergence report confirmed it“, commented Valkov.

„Instead of the parliament dealing with something meaningful, we waste one day every week on debates on a vote of no confidence, which is clearly that it can't pass, because we see the result in the end“, said Valkov.

Regarding what Assen Vassilev said, that if the level of spending continues, taxes will have to increase, Gabriel Valkov commented: “My opinion is that taxes should certainly go up for the rich, not for the poor and working people, because we can't live in a normal country in which a cleaning lady with a 1,000 leva salary and bankers with billions in profits pay the same taxes“.

“Our voters are worried about entering the Eurozone, but that's why we are in this government – to guarantee that there will be no increase in prices“, he added.
