The camper community in Bulgaria is against the new MRDPW regulation for placing caravans and campers outside the beaches.

"We are going back to an incredible closed circle, because this is an old text of the regulation, which was rejected years ago, there were over 600 negative opinions about it". This was what Yordan Ibrishimov from the Bulgarian Camper Society told the Bulgarian National Radio:

"Although we worked very hard, we improved the text during Denkov's rule. Then, on his orders, we spoke. After that, we achieved incredible success, we had approval from all organizations on the text that was created. Everything was fine, the government changed and now they are bombarding us again with the old text, which aims at nothing other than banning camping."

"In Bulgaria, camping tourism is not a subject for consideration by any institution at all," Ibrishimov added in an interview for the show "Predi visi" on the "Horizont" program:

"We cannot understand why there is this hostile attitude towards this tourism, which is great. We are currently discussing how and when to protest. There will certainly be a protest.
