The leader of GERB Boyko Borisov said that he will not be a candidate for president. This question has been asked to me since I was born, and my answer has always been the same and my actions have proven it to me, he also said.
According to him, there are candidates who would gather support from three or four parties and win.
Borisov, together with the chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Regional Policy, Public Works and Local Self-Government Nikolay Nankov and the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Ivanov inspected the construction of the Dyulin Pass.

Borisov and Regional Minister Ivan Ivanov inspected the construction of the Dyulin Pass. The road is expected to be completed in May 2026. Ivan Ivanov said that the route of the Black Sea Motorway will also pass through there.
„A long-awaited project that must be implemented in the coming years, because it will connect Asia and Europe. This year, 2 highways will be put into operation. 1,500 km of roads are currently being rehabilitated. Work is already underway on almost all lots on the Hemus Highway. A construction permit remains to be issued for only 2 lots. It should be completed in its entirety by the end of 2029, said Ivanov.
He said that he was not worried about the audit that the Court of Auditors will conduct because of the water shortage.
„They are checking the period when this ministry was most likely managed by the PP-DB, we will provide all the information. All projects have currently been restarted,” said Ivanov. The effect is expected to be felt in the next 2 years.
