Rangel Bizyurev admitted to the court that he killed Mitko with 5 blows to the body and stomach

One of the twins - Borislav Dinkov, witnessed the fight, and the other twin brought a pickaxe and shovels

Rangel Bizyurev, who is accused of the murder of Dimitar Malinov in the village of Tsalapitsa, told the court today his version of the fatal incident, reported a Plovdiv24.bg reporter. The 30-year-old man himself wanted to give explanations even before the witnesses in the case were heard.

His story, as well as the answers to the questions that were put to him afterwards, lasted nearly 2 hours. Bizyurev admitted that he struck a total of 5 blows to Mitko - 4 with both hands in his torso and one with a knee in his stomach. One of the twins - Borislav Dinkov, with whom they later buried the body of Dimitar Malinov, witnessed the fight. The other twin - Valentin, "helped" with the bringing of picks and shovels.

All the time, Bizyurev repeated that he did not threaten or force the twins to help him in any way.

This is how the brutal murder happened

I worked in Germany for a year and decided to return to Bulgaria. I lived in Hamburg, where I worked in construction, dealing with plasterboard. I bought a round trip ticket and went home to see my relatives.

This is how Rangel Bizyurev began his story.

It was Thursday when I found out that there was going to be a barbecue in the park in Tsalapitsa and I decided to go. There were people and everyone had taken food and alcohol. Me too. I bought 4 beers, 330 milliliter bottles.

We were sitting on the bench and talking, and Borislav Dinkov was sitting next to me. Then Yordan Pungerov came and told me that the previous day I had been the subject of a conversation about Dimitar Malinov for 20-30 minutes. He spoke in front of other people against me and insulted me. He called me “long mastia", “faggot", “garbage" and what not.

During these 2 weeks that I was in Bulgaria, I saw Dimitar exactly twice, and by chance - in common companies. We only said "hello-hello". When I found out what he had said about me, I asked Borislav to write to him and to meet him. That night I did not drink hard alcohol, I did not threaten anyone, I did not force anyone. I wasn't affected by the alcohol because I only had 2 of the beers and I still weigh 120kg. I didn't drink gin, I don't even drink gin at all.

Dimitar replied to Borislav that he was at home and to come get him. We left with Borislav - he was driving the Mercedes that belonged to his father.

Before we reached Mitko's house, I got out of the car in advance and went to the neighboring street. The place was about 50 meters from Mitko's house. Borislav took it and they both came to me. The car stopped in the middle of the street, Mitko was in the front driver's seat, and the windows were rolled down. I approached and when he got down, I asked him why he said such things about me.

He replied that I was not the person to whom he should give explanations. When I first heard what he was saying, I was irritated. After hearing how he answered me, I got irritated again, but also felt very hurt.

I nudged him with my left hand on his right shoulder. Then I pushed him with my right hand and then with both hands on his chest. He hit a tree in the street, staggered and fell to one knee. He then got up and walked towards me punching me. A standing scramble ensued. I hit him twice with my left hand in the torso area. Then 2 blows with the right hand also in the torso area. I also hit him with my right knee in the stomach.

There were no blows to the face, I did not apply uppercuts. There was no blood anywhere - not on his face, not on his T-shirt.

I did not strike to kill him. I did not expect that such fatal consequences could occur from 4 or 5 blows.

It wasn't about girls, money, drugs and some loans, as was written about in the media. Everything happened because of these insults against me.

After the knee strike, I pushed Dimitar into the tree with both hands. He fell and said: Stop, hit me badly!

That was it. I looked at him for a second and said nothing. I got into the car and we drove off. Then I saw Mitko stand up and told Borislav to stop the car and go back. I got down and ran to the street and saw that Mitko had fallen on his back 20 meters from the place with a phone in his hand.

When I saw him, I panicked and was shocked - he had no vital signs. I tried to calm him down, checked his pulse twice, but to no avail. I returned to Borislav and got into the car, explaining the situation to him.

We got out onto the main road and Borislav entered the street in question at the lights. He got out of the car, we both went to him again, he also checked on him and tried to bring him to his senses, slapped him a few times, but to no avail. Borislav told me to take his phone and we drove off again. I didn't say where to drive, he drove in an unknown direction, made me take out the sim card from the phone, tried to delete some things. From there we got back into the car, on the way back Borislav called someone Atanas Gunchev if I'm not mistaken. He told him to go check on the street in question if there were people, if there was anyone.

Upon our arrival at the street where Malinov lives, Atanas was waiting for us there, they exchanged stories with Borislav, then Dinkov told him to disappear. The body was not placed in some bushes. I got off and asked Borislav what we were doing and he told me that we were putting him in the trunk. I wasn't able to react, I wasn't thinking clearly, I was very panicked and scared. On leaving, he called Valentine and told him to get a pick and shovel. I did not direct Borislav, I did not threaten either of them.

We went to the dump, Borislav opened the trunk, we checked again, there was no pulse.

Then Valentine asks what happened, and I answered that I don't know what happened either. They were looking for a place to dig the hole, they liked the place, we dug the hole, Valentin left, Borislav and I carried the body, put it in the hole and poured the finger on top. We got into the car, Borislav left me at our place, I tried to sleep, but I couldn't. Perhaps Borislav then met with Atanas Gunchev to smoke cigarettes. Then we went to the sea with my friends. On Friday evening, Valentin called me and told me that he and Borislav were going to put waste materials on the trench. I did not give instructions, it is not true that I told Valentin that he was an accomplice already, he came to help his brother. I didn't make them wash the car" the defendant stated.

According to Rangel Bizyurev, the twins completely organized the burial and hiding of the body. He himself had not participated and had no idea to do so.

When asked by the lawyers why he specifically asked Borislav to help him, Bizyurev answered that Dinkov had a car and knew that he would do this service for him. He added that Mitko snored when they took him out of the car to take him to the trench.

The case continues with interviews of witnesses to the murder. Interrogations of Atanas Gunchev, Stanislav Minchev, Lyubomir, Jordan are pending. Witnesses and experts have also been called on the 22nd and 23rd, and the final testimony session will be held on September 2nd.

In total, 37 witnesses and 14 experts are scheduled for questioning in the judicial investigation. Bizyurev is charged with premeditated murder, and the indictment states that on July 20 last year in Tsalapitsa, he intentionally killed 24-year-old Dimitar Malinov, and the murder was carried out with particular cruelty.
