Russian air defenses have destroyed 184 Ukrainian drones overnight, Reuters reported, citing data from the Russian Defense Ministry.
“From 11:00 p.m. Moscow time (and Bulgarian time) on October 6 to 7:00 a.m. this morning, air defenses on duty have intercepted and destroyed 184 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones“, the ministry said in a statement in Moscow, quoted by TASS.
According to the information, 62 drones were shot down over the territory of Kursk region, 31 – over Belgorod, 30 – over Nizhny Novgorod, 18 – over Voronezh, and 13 – over the Black Sea waters.
In addition, 6 drones were destroyed over Lipetsk region, 5 – over Kalugzh, 4 – over Tula, 3 – over the territories of Rostov and Ryazan regions, 2 – over Bryansk, Orlov Oblast and Crimean.
The ministry added that two drones were also shot down over Moscow Region – including one flying towards Moscow – as well as one over Volgograd Region.
