Ukraine has denied that Russia has captured Krynichne in Zaporizhia region, Ukrinform reported, BTA reported.
Yesterday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that control over this settlement 10 kilometers northwest of Gulyaipole has been established.
Today, Ukrainian military spokesman Vladislav Voloshin denied this and assured that Krynichne remains under the control of his country's armed forces.
Ukrainian troops are counterattacking in Zaporizhia region to prevent the Russian army from advancing towards the neighboring Dnepropetrovsk region, Voloshin also said.
Recently, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported captured villages in the area.
