The Special Criminal Court in Pezinok in western Slovakia ruled that 71-year-old pensioner Juraj Cintula was accused of attempting to assassinate Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico , to be detained in custody, reported Slovak Television.

Thus, the court granted the prosecutor's request. The prosecution feared that Cintula would otherwise flee the country or continue his criminal activities.
