Bulgarians can now receive a 60-day visa on arrival in Thailand, reported the local online newspaper "Nation", quoted by BTA.
Yesterday, Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a list of 93 countries whose citizens are now allowed to enter the country without a visa or receive a visa on arrival valid for 60 days. The goal is to stimulate tourism and bring hard currency into Thailand, notes "Nation".
Until now, Bulgarians had the right to receive a 30-day visa upon arrival. Now the validity period has been increased twice.
This change of the visa regime applies to a total of 13 countries. The remaining 12 are Romania, Cyprus, Malta, Georgia, India, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Uzbekistan, Taiwan, Bhutan and Fiji, the Nation said.
