Turkish special services detained 65 people on suspicion of ties to the terrorist group "Islamic State", Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced, quoted by Anadolu Agency and BTA.

„In the framework of operations against the terrorist group Islamic State, conducted over the last five days in 17 districts, 65 people were detained”, Yerlikaya wrote on his profile on the social network “X“.

Among the cities where the operations were carried out are Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Mersin and other major cities.
