A fire broke out on the balcony of an apartment in the eastern Darnitsky district of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, possibly caused by a downed drone, reported early this morning in "Telegram" mayor Vitali Klitschko, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
Klitschko wrote that the fire broke out on the eighth floor of a multi-story residential building.
According to preliminary data, there are no victims. Fire crews and emergency vehicles are on their way to the scene.
In some areas of Kyiv, loud explosions are heard and air defenses have been activated.
