Adana was shaken by magnitude 5 on the Richter scale

An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale was registered in Adana province in southern Turkey. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, the emergency department and provincial authorities said.

The earthquake was registered at 20:07 Moscow time. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Kozan district, the source was at a depth of 20.1 km.

The earthquake caused panic among the residents of the countryside, who left their homes. It was felt in neighboring areas.
