Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has welcomed the US decision to designate Yemen's Houthi rebels as a terrorist organization, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
"This is an important step in the fight against terrorism and destabilizing elements in our region," Saar wrote today on the social network "Ex".
Yesterday, US President Donald Trump issued an executive order declaring the Houthis a "foreign terrorist organization".
