European countries have already provided more than half of the ammunition that Ukraine needs, said European Union foreign policy chief Kaia Kalas, quoted by Reuters, reports News.bg.
According to her, the process is going in the right direction, but it is crucial that the 2.5 million rounds of ammunition be delivered to Kiev as soon as possible.
“I am glad to see that we have different proposals and that different countries are contributing to providing half of the ammunition that Ukraine needs“, Kalas emphasized.
