Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to change the Hungarian government, while in Brussels "secret services are preparing actions against Hungary", BTA reports.

This was stated by the director of the press service of the ruling coalition FIDES - Christian Democratic People's Party, Tomasz Mencer, in a post on “Facebook“, quoted by the Hungarian news agency MTI.

According to him, the European Union is irritated by Hungary's decision to oppose Ukraine's membership in the EU and not to support “pro-Ukrainian and pro-war policies“.

Mencer criticized the chairman of the European People's Party, Manfred Weber, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, saying that they “sent a clear message“. According to him, Zelensky has sent a similar signal: “He wants a change of government“.

According to the Fidesz spokesman, the Ukrainian president prefers a “puppet government“, led by Peter Magyar and his “Tisa“ party, which supports Ukraine's European integration.

“Weber, Von der Leyen and Zelensky together want to overthrow the sovereigntist government of Viktor Orbán. The prime minister stands in their way because he does not obey Brussels and Kiev, but defends Hungarian interests,“ Mencer stressed.

He recalled that 2.2 million Hungarian citizens expressed their position in a poll this year, stating that “Hungary comes first, not Ukraine“.

Mencer added that he plans to publish a video that, in his words, will prove “the threats from Weber and Zelensky“.
