German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said today that the delivery of Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine remains a possible option, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
“This remains a possibility“, Merz said in an interview with German television ARD.
Although Germany is among the main suppliers of weapons to Ukraine, Berlin has not yet provided Taurus missiles with a range of up to about 500 km.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned several times that such a delivery could turn Germany into a country directly involved in the war.
