Less than three weeks after the premiere of the new BMW M3, the updated model is now available in the brand's configurator for Bulgaria. Although it underwent a facelift rather than a complete platform change, the sedan boasts a power increase and a new look. The headlights have new daytime running lights and turn signals, and there's a new set of shiny forged aluminum wheels. The interior has also been refreshed, with a new three-spoke steering wheel and a more premium dashboard. The physical buttons for the climate system, which is controlled by the central screen, are now missing.
The base M3 retains its turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine with 473 horsepower, which can propel the car from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in 4.1 seconds. The M3 Competition gets the same engine, but with increased power to 503 horsepower, which reduces the time from 0 to 100 km/h by a tenth of a second.
The M3 Competition xDrive has undergone some engine changes and now has 523 horsepower, which is 20 more than the previous model. This results in an acceleration of 3.4 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
As for the prices in our country, the base M3 is logically the cheapest, which starts at BGN 170,950 before you go wild with the configurator. You can get the M3 Competition for BGN 183,200, and the configuration with 4x4 drive is available for BGN 193,850.
