Shipping in the Strait of Hormuz has almost stopped, with not a single oil tanker passing through in the past 24 hours, Bloomberg reported, citing the Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC).
According to the center, only two commercial transits have been made through the strait in the past 24 hours.
Earlier, Bloomberg, citing data from the maritime information agency Clarksons Research, reported that more than 3,000 ships are waiting in Persian Gulf ports to transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
