Can artificially created clouds help us in case of fires? The Bulgarian Farmers' Union insists that Bulgaria start seeding clouds. Precipitation from created clouds is in the interest of irrigation and agriculture in general. The industry organization explains that similar attempts have already been made in the USA, Canada, the United Arab Emirates and China. It turns out that even neighboring Romania already has experience in creating clouds.
"The experience of a number of countries shows that by treating the clouds we can reach 10-15% precipitation. This in itself will not be a panacea for solving the irrigation problems, but it is a prerequisite to fill the dams and through the canal network this water can reach the people and have water for irrigation as well." This was stated on the air of "Wake up" the chairman of the Bulgarian Farmers' Union, Georgi Stoyanov, quoted by Nova TV.
