DONGFENG will present eight new models at the Sofia Motor Show 2024 (18-27 October at Inter Expo Center).
The Chinese leader in the automotive industry is expanding its presence on the Bulgarian market, enriching its model range and opening new dealerships throughout the country.
Among the new proposals will be:
MHERO 1 - the electric, super luxurious, premium crossover of the brand, powered by four electric motors with a total power of 1088 hp, combines a luxurious interior, extremely dynamic road behavior and the ability to take passengers through any terrain.
The
DFSK E5 plug-in hybrid is a 7-seater SUV that is both comfortable and economical. The car impresses with dynamic driving behavior similar to that of an all-electric model, but at the same time offers a range of over 1,100 km on a single charge. In addition, it features a spacious interior and a wide range of equipment, providing comfort and functionality at the highest level.
DFSK 600 is a 7-seater SUV powered by a 1.5 liter petrol engine with a performance of 190 hp. and a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car is an updated replacement for the brand's 580 offerings – a suitable solution for both a company car and an everyday family car.
Forthing S7 impresses with expressive design, spacious interior and many innovations – qualities that make it the brand's new electric sedan. With an extremely low consumption of electricity per 100 km, the car offers a range of over 420 km thanks to a medium capacity battery. This not only provides excellent efficiency, but also makes the car more affordable compared to other models in the same class.
Forthing T5 HEV - the best-selling model from the brand on the Bulgarian market, expands its product mix, focusing on ecological solutions. The T5 HEV offers a new, even more aggressive facelift, adding an electric motor that reduces fuel consumption with improved driving dynamics.
Forthing V9 HEV is a 7-seater luxury MPV that offers ample interior space for comfortable and long journeys. With innovative multimedia systems and equipment, the car satisfies every taste.
DF RICH 6 - Dongfeng's pickup truck, is off-road, designed to be the best business assistant 24/7, extremely reliable partner at an affordable price.
Aeolus Shine – A classic sedan for everyday life, the model will be available in two trim levels, in two different performances, equipped with a 1.5 liter engine and a mechanical box with a performance of 115 hp, in the lower trim level Dongfeng plans to position the car as one of the most affordable in its class on the Bulgarian market. In the higher trim level, besides more extras,
the model will also offer different road behavior, with an added turbocharger in combination with an automatic box with a dual clutch and a power of 190 hp.
The models are designed to meet the highest standards of safety, comfort and energy efficiency.
To support the expansion of its product portfolio, Dongfeng Bulgaria plans to open new dealerships in key cities of the country. In September 2024, a second showroom will be opened in Sofia, and by the end of the year a new showroom will also be opened in Plovdiv.
Until now “China Motor Company“ AD, part of “Auto Union“ EAD, official partner and importer for the Bulgarian market of cars with the Dongfeng brand, has sold nearly 700 cars with the Dongfeng brand, 400 of which were realized in 2024. It is expected that the brand's market share will reach 2.5% by the end of the year, with 130 new cars from the future models having already been seized.
The importer of the brand will represent part of Dongfeng's portfolio in both the Serbian and Greek markets, thus expanding its reach in the Balkans as well.
