Bulgaria with a strong presence at the largest London tourism exhibition

World Travel Market will be held for the 44th time from November 5 to 7 in the British capital

Bulgaria will present our beautiful nature, the sites under the auspices of UNESCO, the opportunities for cultural tourism in Bulgaria and wine temptations at the stand of the World Travel Market tourist exhibition in London, which will be held for the 44th time, from November 5 to 7, 2024. Every year, World Travel Market is visited by about 43 000 people, the exhibitors are nearly 5000, and the media representatives are over 3000.

And this year, the Bulgarian stand will be located in one of the best and most communicative places at the WTM exhibition and will be located on an area of 304 square meters. It will present the opportunities for wine tourism in our country, introducing our guests with the opportunities for wine and culinary tourism in North-Eastern Bulgaria, the Thracian Lowland and the Rose Valley, Southern Sakar, the Struma Valley, the Western and Central Danube Plain. Each of the regions will be presented with a quality wine typical of the terroir.

Bulgarian nature, culture and sites under the auspices of UNESCO in Bulgaria will be presented through cinematic VR materials. Everyone who visited the Bulgarian stand at the exhibition will have the opportunity to take a photo with them from the specially built photo corner, where they can take a photo against a different background with a view of Bulgaria, and the photo will be able to be shared on social networks.

At the Bulgarian stand, 27 Bulgarian tourist companies, associations and municipalities will take part.

During the WTM exhibition, Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev will continue his initiative to create the Destination “Balkans” and will hold a working meeting on the topic with Olga Kefaloyani, Minister of Tourism of Greece, the Ministry of Tourism reports. In addition to Kefaloyani, Minister Miloshev will hold working talks with Daniela Santanke – Minister of Tourism of Italy, Ahmed Al-Khatib – Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fatima Al Sairafi – Minister of Tourism of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Nadir Alpaslan – Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, with Frantisek Raismuller – CEO of the Czech Tourism Agency and a number of others.
