GERB MPs fulfilled Boyko Borisov's order: There is no quorum in parliament - 1

The MPs did not gather a quorum for today's plenary day. GERB did not even appear in the hall. The chairwoman of the session, Natalia Kiselova, did not even bother to declare a recess in an attempt to gather the MPs and simply announced that they would meet tomorrow at 9 a.m.

The opposition raised posters with the inscriptions "Resignation".

Yesterday, GERB leader Boyko Borisov ordered his MPs to start touring their constituencies again and hinted that his people would not help with the quorum in parliament. On their social media profiles, his MPs began announcing reception hours for today during the time designated for a plenary session.

"Either the government will work as one and work for the good of Bulgarians, or those who dare to please the parties. We will spend another 3-4 days without a quorum and the government will be gone. Let them decide whether they can govern without the sixth party that brought them into the eurozone and took them out of the monitoring mechanism. We are giving the young people a chance to prove themselves. Let's see how they will prove themselves," Borisov addressed his supporters.
