"The fear you are talking about from the president, I see it from the ruling majority. The fear is great from the rulers and there is reason for it - they did not cope with the crisis, inflation, fires, floods, the lack of water". This was stated by the former acting Minister of Defense Dimitar Stoyanov to BNT, quoted by news.bg.
According to him, the acting governments of Rumen Radev ruled for a year and five months, and before that they ruled the coalition of Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski, the acting government of Dimitar Glavchev and now another coalition between Borisov and Peevski.
"The fear is that the president might accidentally go out on the field and sweep them away. We are preparing for elections and the president will fulfill his powers under the Constitution," Stoyanov commented.
He pointed out that from a big "D" we are moving towards a big "M" - a mafia state. "One person has taken over the state and is overeating with power", added the former acting defense minister.
According to him, the behavior of politicians is impudent towards the head of state. "Now they are trying to suspend both the security and the cars of the president's NSO. Tomorrow the Hungarian president is coming and he should be met at the "Plovdiv" airport, but how will the Bulgarian president and the administration get there?", asked Dimitar Stoyanov. And he continued to wonder how the head of state's program to the Bachkovo Monastery and to Smolyan will be respected.
Dimitar Stoyanov was categorical that the presidency is not crying for new cars for him and his administration. "The presidential institution will also deal with this action taken by the National Assembly. I simply have no words to comment further", his advisor is disappointed. He added that the president's security is 24/7 and continuous, and there is a way for him not to drive his personal car, but he will be with her.
Stoyanov also pointed out that what the deputies managed to do was politicize the security services.
