Politics today is determined by the people who do not vote. They are twice as many as those who vote, said GERB-SDF MP Denitsa Sacheva to BNT.
She emphasized that Zhelyazkov's government is a minority government. According to her, GERB is grateful to the parties supporting this government so that it can realize its goals. According to her, GERB and MRF New Beginnings have sat at the same table so that Bulgaria can enter the eurozone, and not give up halfway.
Sacheva pointed out that GERB will no longer bear the blame and be the universal excuse that someone cannot. According to her, this is why the formation insists on shared responsibility. The MP noted that without the GERB MPs, it is impossible to adopt one or another piece of legislation.
In connection with Boyko Borisov's statement in Razgrad, she stated that he is not afraid of criminals in politics, but of those who shake politics. She emphasized that GERB is not a party that is being eaten up. Sacheva added that the formation has structures in all 28 districts.
She expects the BSP to consider the proposal for a rotating Speaker of the National Assembly. According to her, this is not an attempt to deprive someone of something. Sacheva pointed out that Raya Nazaryan is GERB's candidate for the post.
According to her, the submission of the 2026 budget is not delayed. We cannot afford heavy reform actions on the threshold of the eurozone. The budget will be within the limits of what is reasonable and the only possible, she added.
