Kiril Petkov on Lukoil: Borisov and Peevski coordinated their actions with the Kremlin - 1

A fictitious special manager, agreed upon between Delyan Peevski, Boyko Borisov, Maggio and other figures - this is what the former leader of "We Continue the Change" and former Prime Minister Kiril Petkov expects for the future of the "Lukoil" refinery in Burgas.

In a post on his Facebook page, Petkov wrote what Bulgaria should do right now to avoid a crisis with the refinery's shutdown, as well as what he actually expects to happen under the current management.

If Bulgaria had a normal government, not led by Mr. "Magnitsky, the following should have been done:

1. To appoint a trusted international manager - a large company that the US and the EU really trust. Not another Peevski or Samuilov person.

2. To ensure that not a cent goes to Russia based on the activities of the special manager with an international reputation and supervision by the Bulgarian state.

3. To comply with international law so as not to drag Bulgaria into expensive arbitrations that we will have to pay for years.

4. If the war continues - to work with the European Commission and other member states on a common European strategy for the possible sale of the assets. The buyers should be large international companies with transparency, access to good oil prices and zero tolerance for corruption. All this should be done under a common European decision so that there are no separate lawsuits against Bulgaria."

In his words, however, in the "state of the "big D and the little b" he rather expects something else to happen:

1. They should propose another fictitious manager, coordinated between Peevski, Borisov, Maggio and other figures - so that OFAC is forced to "turn a blind eye", because the real control goes to sanctioned individuals and Russian assets again. Here I hope that OFAC will not give them this opportunity, because it really threatens the meaning of these sanctions. How can OFAC guarantee the US government that Peevski's fictional straw man will not buy resold Russian oil or secretly trade with Putin's shadowy flotilla (I don't think anyone has forgotten about passports for Russian citizens or the illegal trade in cigarettes).

2. They should continue the insane actions, such as bringing in SANS on Sunday - just for PR shots, but in reality they are giving new arguments for future arbitration cases against Bulgaria.

3. They organize a classic scumbag scheme - companies in front and behind, draining Lukoil while preparing to seize the assets.

4. The end result: normal investors give up, the refinery remains entangled in lawsuits for the Russians, and Bulgaria is condemned for lost profits and a bunch of other damages related to the interim thefts by the two fat guys."

According to Kiril Petkov, the big question right now is different.

"Given that Borisov is not that brave - do you really think he would do all this against Putin's interests? I don't think so. Which leaves only one explanation: Borisov and Peevski coordinated their actions with the Kremlin. Points 3 and 4 work perfectly - both for our interests and for Russian interests," commented the former leader of the PP and former prime minister.

"The last question is to all Bulgarians: How long will we tolerate them?", Kiril Petkov concludes his publication.
