Police officers from the “Economic Police“- SDVR seized drugs banned for sale in Bulgaria.
The specialized police operation was carried out jointly with experts from the Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate, the National Revenue Agency and the Bulgarian Food and Drug Administration, BNT recalled.
The drugs were seized from two retail outlets in Sofia whose main activity is the sale of food products.
The inspection also found a large quantity of food supplements of unclear origin with a ban on distribution by the Bulgarian Food and Drug Administration. An administrative act and finding protocols have been drawn up for the owner - a 33-year-old woman. Work on the case continues.
