"When an idea is good – it is good!", wrote Vasil Terziev on Facebook in connection with the call of the leader of the DPS-New Beginning Delyan Peevski to open the parking lot around “St. Alexander Nevski”.
"I fully support the proposal: the parking lot next to “St. Alexander Nevski“ should serve Sofia residents, not MPs and their “security zone“, which the parliament itself decided to establish there. Sofia Municipality is fully prepared to put up “Blue Zone“ signs next week and open dozens of spaces for citizens – for people who visit the cathedral, the National Gallery or the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Sofia residents deserve to have this space at their disposal, and not in a specially guarded parking lot. There is only one small formality left: Ms. Raya Nazaryan, Speaker of the National Assembly, must issue the order by which the parliament vacates the area. I urge her to do so as soon as possible.
And since the idea comes from Mr. Delyan Peevski - thank you for the inspiration!
Now is the time for his political influence to materialize in support of Ms. Nazaryan, so that this excellent idea can finally become a reality.
The Sofia Municipality is ready. We are only waiting for the key to the parking lot," Terziev also writes.
