The leader of "Unruly Bulgaria" and former chairwoman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) Cornelia Ninova was a special guest on "Darik's Week" and commented on the protests against the government and against the attempt to adopt the heavily criticized budget for next year during the break of the plenary session, as well as a possible political formation of President Rumen Radev.
„Rumen Radev missed the moment of effect and the alternative in 2020, when the prosecutor's office entered the presidency, he came out with his fist, we all stood by him, then he was a force. If he had left then, Bulgaria would be different now and this Borisov-Peevski model would not exist. But he clenched his fist, returned to the presidency and started party engineering. Instead of leading all of us, he started pitting us against each other, created the PP-DB, put them on the field, said - these are the new ones.“
„Has any of those you are now angry with and want to replace been investigated during these two years? I recently listened to an interview with Rumen Ovcharov. He said - the service ministers were forbidden to bring out Boyko Borisov's tricks. What alternative did you feel after two years of President Radev ruling you? But let's wait for him to form his party and we'll see. If he declares what party he will form, will he finally form it? Why didn't he come that day to these protesting people who are looking for the alternative.“
