Two police officers from the Sofia Police Department saved a man who had an accident. After the patrol of junior inspectors Kiril Damyanov and Toni Ivanov arrived at the scene, it turned out that the driver had lost control of his car after feeling unwell. Therefore, the police officers did everything possible to help the man until the emergency team arrived, Nova TV reports.
The last clear memory I have is passing the roundabout at “Levov Most”. And then I found myself here”, shared Milko Panov.
The incident is from December 19. Kiril Damyanov and Toni Ivanov are on duty when they receive a report of a crash. When they arrive, they realize that something is happening to Milko Panov's health.
“His speech was quite incomprehensible”, explains Junior Inspector Kiril Damyanov.
They call for emergency help, and until the doctors arrive, the two police officers try to save Milko's life.
“We tried in every way to maintain contact with him so that he wouldn't lose consciousness, we supported his head in an upright position and given the low temperatures, we decided to wrap him up to preserve his body heat”, explained Kiril Damyanov.
Junior Inspector Toni Ivanov manages to call the victim's son and wife. He tells them what happened and they also come to the scene.
„We were concerned about his condition because he didn't look well”, says Toni Ivanov.
„Thank you very much, I want to wish them a bright Christmas and kindness in everyone's hearts. Thank you very much”, says his wife Ginka Panova.
Milko was taken to the hospital and the doctors managed to stabilize him. Today the two police officers are back at work, and Milko is with his family.
„I will always remind me of this Christmas and of Ivanov and Damyanov”, says Milko.
