Three people are in hospital after an accident that occurred on the Vratsa - Krivodol road, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vratsa reports. On Friday at around 17:20, two cars crashed, and the cause was speeding that did not comply with the road conditions, BTA correspondent in the city Lilyana Rashkova reported.
The accident occurred on the III-101 Vratsa - Krivodol road in the area of \u200b\u200bthe "Lilyashka Mogila" locality. A passenger car, driven by a 65-year-old licensed driver, lost control of the steering and entered the oncoming lane, where it hit another car. His passenger, a 59-year-old woman, was seriously injured. She has a pneumothorax in her chest, and is admitted to the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment in Vratsa, with life-threatening injuries.
The 65-year-old driver and another passenger suffered minor injuries - both are admitted to the Surgical Department of the Vratsa Hospital. The two drivers involved in the accident were tested for alcohol and drugs, and their samples were negative. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case at the Regional Directorate.
