Serious accident on the Sofia - Samokov road. The collision occurred between two passenger cars. Traffic in both lanes is temporarily stopped.
The traffic accident occurred under the bridge for the village of Dolni Okol, in the direction of Samokov.
The Emergency Service reported to NOVA that the accident occurred before the area of “Stena“. An ambulance was immediately sent from the Samokov branch. Two people from a Serbian family who came from Belgrade were injured: a 61-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man. An emergency team transported them to “Pirogov“. A 50-year-old Bulgarian was also injured and was taken to the University Hospital “St. Anna“. The three have abdominal and chest injuries.
The RIA announced that traffic on road II-82 Sofia - Samokov at km 61 is temporarily restricted in both directions due to a traffic accident. Cars are being redirected along a detour route: Samokov - Belchinski bani - Kovachevtsi - Zheleznitsa - Bistritsa - Sofia and back. Traffic is regulated by the "Traffic Police".
