Speaker of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan paid tribute to the victims of the communist regime in front of the Memorial in the center of Sofia.
"Today we pay our respects to the victims of the communist dictatorship with the clear awareness that we are indebted to their memory. We are obliged to objectively convey the facts of history to future generations". This is clear from a post on Raya Nazaryan's social media.
And he added: "I count on all democratically minded people, regardless of their party today, to unite to guarantee justice and a dignified memory for the victims of the communist dictatorship.
Politics should not divide people, but unite them. Opponents should respect each other, not persecute each other.". Nazaryan wrote this on his "Facebook" profile.
