The deadline that the CEC gave Stoil Tsitselkov to withdraw from the Public Council of the institution expires today, NOVA reported.

According to the chairwoman of the Commission, Kamelia Neykova, if he does not do so voluntarily, the procedure for his forced removal will be discussed.

On Friday, Stoil Tsitselkov resigned as Deputy Prime Minister for Fair Elections due to the allegations of Toshko Yordanov from “Ima tak naroz" that he has three convictions for drunk driving and possession of marijuana. After an inquiry by NOVA, the European Commission confirmed that Tsitselkov was removed for five years as an election observer abroad for failure to comply with ethical rules.
