Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov is expected to hold a meeting with the new regional governors today, NOVA reported.
The reason is the preparation of the early parliamentary elections.
At the beginning of the week, all regional governors were replaced by the caretaker cabinet and 28 new people were appointed. According to Prime Minister Gyurov, the changes are key to guaranteeing the fairness of the vote.
The mass replacement was followed by sharp political reactions in parliament. Some of the formations suspected personnel influence of the coalition “We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria“, while they categorically denied having nominated their own personnel.
