I have filed a report with SANS and I will ask that the chairwoman of the PG of "BSP - United Left" Natalia Kiselova and President Iliana Yotova be investigated. This was stated by the chairman of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov on the sidelines of the parliament, a FOCUS reporter reported.
Kostadinov accused of "treason" Iliana Yotova and Natalia Kiselova for their statements that Bulgaria was responsible for the deportation of Jews from territories in Greece and Yugoslavia during World War II.
"Natalia Kiselova's statement from the parliamentary rostrum represented such a grave treason that I cannot remember in the last few years that it has happened so brazenly by the head of state and by one of the Bulgarian parties to which the head of state belongs", explained Kostadinov.
"Bulgarian state policy has not changed - Bulgaria does not admit guilt for the deportation of these Jews", Kostadinov also said, adding that they were not Bulgarian citizens and were not under direct Bulgarian authority, while Bulgarian Jews were saved - a fact that, in his words, is internationally recognized.
''We see how "They are insulting our own laws and our own decisions of parliaments by the head of state and by the chairman of one of the PGs, who until recently was the chairman of the National Assembly, this is unacceptable," said the leader of "Vazrazhdane".
"This day - the day of remembrance of the victims of the Holocaust is the day on which Israel should thank Bulgaria, just as we express gratitude to the people who liberated us every year on March 3rd - to be honest, Russia and the Russian people," he added.
