The conflict between the US and Iran is very serious and, as it had started, could have encompassed many countries in this region. And it could put the world on the brink of nuclear war. We know that Israel is a nuclear power, although this is not officially recognized. In this sense, with more serious pressure in the scenario, things could have escalated. The US is also a nuclear power. “And Iran speaks very clearly – not only about Israel, but about the entire conflict. Iran hit the various American bases in the region very precisely, and this was a serious blow. I think the Americans did not expect such a thing. Perhaps we are talking about much more significant geopolitical interests here. You know we are talking about Russia and China. I will add that the West is afraid of the “four evils“ – Russia, China, North Korea and Iran“, the guest added.
“There is certainly a connection between Russia and China, who assisted Iran with intelligence. This allowed Iran's missiles to be very precisely aimed. In practice, if Iran fell or had fallen, this would seriously threaten the interests of Russia and China, because an outlet to the Caspian Sea opens up – so to speak a blow to the “weaknesses“ of the Russian Federation. We are also talking about Central Asia and the Caucasus - this is a very serious problem for Russia," commented Prof. Stefanov.
"The same is true of China, which to some extent - about 20% - depends on Iranian oil. And not only on oil. The fall of Iran would be a serious blow, because the Chinese have invested significant funds in this country. In this case, a private Chinese company provided a "space view" over this entire space, and this enabled - since the information was published openly on the Internet - Iran to target its strikes with very precise accuracy. When you know where American bases are located and how they can be hit, things become easier. The information was public and so the targets were targeted very precisely. This is not a secret. We are talking about a private Chinese company - officially China is not involved, so you cannot look for a direct connection for help. This conflict could expand and if the parties were forced to respond more seriously, we would have a completely different scenario“, the guest also shared.
