Bulgarian political life is extremely distorted. It contains only lobbying interests, groupism, partyism. Politics has turned into economic interests, which act on a wolfish principle at all levels of the state.

"People in this situation have no one to vote for. Parties offer nothing new. In this dictatorship of GERB and DPS, which was joined by PP-DB, new political ideas, new civil activity can be expected to appear – how? Fear is constantly being instilled, work is being done against new parties, new ideas, against young people. Voter turnout will be weak because the citizens are already disgusted, commented the political scientist in the show "First of all".
Vote buying will be a very big factor. The corporate vote will be at high levels. The elections will not be democratic, fair and European, expressed concern Maria Pirgova.
It is very difficult to make politics in a society that has adapted to the gray economy and lawlessness, Prof. Pirgova stressed.
"New political entities that are created give up because they do not see the possibility of a breakthrough, even at the local level. In these conditions, a breakthrough is difficult."
