Iraqi Islamic Resistance said it attacked "vital" targets in the southern Israeli city of Eilat in response to Israel's continued strikes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
"Continuing our resistance against the occupation, in support of our people in Gaza and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women and the elderly, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked a vital target in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) using drones in the early hours of this morning, April 7, 2024," the armed group noted in a statement.
Earlier, the armed group said it had carried out attacks on an oil refinery in the northern Israeli port city of Haifa.
